Novice or Pre-Competitive
Who Can Dance Here?
- Novice Soloists
- Groups with 75% + Novice dancers
- Dancers that train 1-2 hours per week
- Dancers with 1st time Solos
- Dancers in Novice should NOT have multiple solos
This category is to the teacher or studio’s discretion but Star Talent does reserves the right to move any dance that they feel has been mis-represented.
Competitive B
Who Can Dance Here?
- Competitive Dancers in Small Studios
- Studio's without an Audition Process
- Small studio's competitive dancers
- Dancers Doing minimal Ballet or Tech Classes
- Dancers with no more than 3 solos
Star Talent will be monitoring the entries for this category and reserves the right to move any dance or dancer that they feel has been mis-represented.
Competitive A
Who Can Dance Here?
- Competitive Dancers
- Studios with an Audition Process
- Small studio's higher level competitive dancers who like to challenge themself
- Large Studio's Competitive Dancers
- Dancers with Multiple Solos/Duos/Trios
This category is to the teacher or studio’s discretion but Star Talent does reserves the right to move any dance that they feel has been mis-represented.
Elite Competitive
Who Can Dance Here?
- Elite dancers that have been training many hours or many years
- Groups with a majority of Elite dance level training
- Dancers looking for a challenge in their competition experience
- Dancers with Solos in multiple genres

Star Talent Adult / Parent
ADULT
This 20+ category is for dancers who are still dancing competitively at a studio or university level.
PARENT
This 25+ category is for dancers who dance recreationally only and will not be eligible to place in the regular overalls but only within this adult category. An adult age dancer may fall into this category if they are strictly a non-professional dancer dancing recreationally.
